Vlad Klepov

Crystal Growth and Device Fabrication

Vlad joined Actinia part-time in July 2021 as a crystal growth and device fabrication scientist while working as a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University. His research lies at the intersection of solid-state chemistry and materials science and focuses on radiation detection, magnetic materials, and radiochemistry. Currently he is working on the design and synthesis of new radiation detectors based on halide and chalcogenide compounds. Vlad has co-authored 70 scientific publications in high-impact journals.

In his free time, Vlad enjoys spending time with his family, running, and hiking.
